Inspiration

In color and texture

I can't count the times I have walked or run past this door and mailbox and saw something unusual in the window of the mailbox and never captured it. The other day I was out for a stroll with my best lady, Callie Rose and decided to start my documentation of this little nook. I look forward to what else I may find in this couple inches of space in my hometown.

the bright pink contrast to the weathered door and rusted metal is striking.

I have been further exploring layers of color in my enamels and how I apply them but this really makes me want to do some further studies and explore larger pieces.

I am always fascinated with whites, not so whites....

and the unexpected breaks in whites where color emerges.

No matter where my legs take me I am forever inspired and hope I never get too busy to take in the details and beauty of life. I know these observations will lead me to something. A new design, a new method of creating, a new aesthetic, another floor to add to my foundation as I expand my horizons.

I vow to never stop exploring. In life. In jewelry, In the woods. In running. In every last aspect of life.

Thanks for taking this journey with me.
