The other evening I set out for a run, hoping to catch the sun setting over this little city I make my jewelry in. As I was parking my car I saw the moon, big and bright starting to rise behind the city across the river. Right away I knew my route would take me over the bridge, chasing that full moon, watching it rise into the pale blue sky. I also knew when it was time to turn around that full moon would light my way back towards to setting sun. Not only was it one of the most beautiful runs I have been on but my delight brought me to run effortlessly towards the fastest run I have yet to complete in my short year and a half of running. Forever inspired by what I see on the roads or trails I take that inspiration to my bench and make jewelry as a token of what made me happy, inspired and full, hoping you can relate to it in your own way, making my jewelry a token for you to treasure.

Some full moons are golden, gleaming like the sun in the dark night hours. Some are white, looking like a big round star, some are overcast, blending into the darkness. I represented them with a brass pendant, a shiny silver one and an oxidized silver pendant. Each circle is 5mm small. I loved how mixed metals allow for a subtle variety in colors.

This necklace is available in a 16" or 18" chain and closes with a handmade clasp. If you need a longer chain option please ask, there may be an additional charge.
