sea foam and smoke double dot necklace

88.00

I love my dot collection so much that I decided to add a second, teeny dot to my dot necklace. My dot collection is made by sifting crushed glass onto a dapped disc of fine silver. Once the surface is well coated I torch fire the disc to fuse the crushed glass to the silver creating an even surface. I repeat the process until the surface of the silver is well covered in a rich hue. After I solder a bail to the pendants I add a satin finish to the back, string them on hand cut chain and solder on a handmade clasp.

This necklace has a vibrant sea foam pendant measuring half an inch hanging on a 16 inch chain. The teeny dot is a smoky grey hue measuring 3/8th of an inch, hanging on a 15.5 inch chain. I love the subtle contrast of color in this necklace. Each has pendant has its own chain but are attached to the same clasp so they don't get tangled.

The pendants are fine silver with torch fired enamels. The chain and clasp are sterling silver.
